With our first B-team coaching announcement, we would like to welcome Ryan Dudgeon as the U15B head coach.
I grew up playing minor
hockey in the Port Elgin.
I went onto play 3 seasons of
Jr. B with the Owen Sound Greys and in my final year was the league leading
scorer and was named Ontario Jr. B player of the year. I then played NCAA D1
hockey at Northeastern University in Boston, USA.
After Boston, I travelled to Europe to play professional hockey with stops in
the Netherlands and Germany and eventually came home to play numerous seasons
with the Lucknow Lancers, Saugeen Shores Winterhawks and Ripley Wolves.
I enjoyed a season as an assistant coach for the Kincardine Jr. C Bulldogs in
2014.
Over the last 10 years I
have been coaching my 3 children’s hockey teams in Kincardine as well as
providing private hockey training at Future Shot Hockey Development.
My goal is to have players develop the skills and mental capacity necessary to
excel in the hockey world. I look forward to great inaugural season with the
West Coast Whitecaps.
