The West Coast Whitecaps are excited to announce Shawn Burrows as the U16A head coach.
My name is Shawn Burrows. I was born and raised in Kincardine.
I played minor hockey (Novice to Midget) with Kincardine Minor Hockey.
I continued playing Junior C with the Kincardine Bulldogs, where we won a league championship.
I have 25 years of coaching under my belt; 8 years coaching Kincardine Bulldogs, 2 years with the Ripley Wolves, 2 years with the Grey Bruce Highlanders, and 17 years in Kincardine Minor Hockey. While head coach of the Bulldogs, I was named Junior C Head Coach of the Year and won a Junior C league championship as an assistant coach.
My focus is skill development, hard work and accountability. I strongly I believe a winning culture will help kids succeed on and off the ice.
I look forward to this next chapter.
